I had a paper on the wall where I wrote with felt pens and the other day I accidentally left a wet rag hanging over it. I didn't realise until now that the rag soaked both the paper and the wall and now I have dry pen ink on the wall.

I'm renting this apartment, so I hope there's some cheap solution to clean it up, but I dint want to risk anything so I don't make it even worse.

I tried using a wet sponge, but the paint on the wall is very thin and the stain is not going away....Please help!

Since I am renting this apartment, I require some cheap solution or hacks to clean it up and I did not want to risk anything so that it could not go even worse.
