I live in the US where doctors are not free. The lower half of the population does not have health insurance. I've had a migraine for 8 days. My vitals are normal and will just get a referral to see a specialist. They want money up front if you do not have insurance. So the ER will not help you unless your in immediate danger and the normal doctor will not see you. What can I do to see a doctor?

Free Clinics offers free as well as sliding scale services for limited income individuals.

First Opinion allows you to text available 24/7 for free with a doctor. It is a one-time fee of $39 for their extended service which includes prescriptions, labs, ability to send photos and more.

Best of luck.
