I live in the US where doctors are not free. The lower half of the population does not have health insurance. I've had a migraine for 8 days. My vitals are normal and will just get a referral to see a specialist. They want money up front if you do not have insurance. So the ER will not help you unless your in immediate danger and the normal doctor will not see you. What can I do to see a doctor?

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Does not seem to need a life hack — A "life hack" is a seemingly intractable problem that can be solved by thinking outside the box. Unfortunately, everyday "How to…" questions about learning a craft or new skill are outside the scope of this site. See about Lifehacks. If the author can show how this needs an "outside the box" solution, edit and 'flag' to reopen." – Chenmunka, Kate Gregory, Takkat, Zeiss Ikon
