I skate around the city sometimes, but out of courtesy (and sometimes the law) I can't wear my skates indoors, so I must switch to shoes.

1. Are there any recommended shoes that are small/lightweight/easy to slip on to use for this?

2. Is there good way to carry these shoes around, aside from just in my bag where they can be bulky?
