Dec 15, 2017 at 17:26 | comment | added | Robert Cartaino | @Mawg It's hard to see how the tolerance can be so tight when car windows typically use a flexible rubber gasket to fill a larger space — but if that's the case, search for a plastic or rubber "wedge shim" that look like this (youtube.com/watch?v=gNm3T1_oY3s). That's what I used and they are tiny tiny; definitely small enough to fit into that space. And they're stackable if you need something larger. | |

I can give it a try. Any other ideas? I think I might be able to use something the width of a hacksaw blade, at most. It's a very tight fit, so I will update the question. | |
