Aug 28, 2018 at 14:18 | comment | added | Stephie | Could you add a photo or two, ideally of the whole thing and the lighter areas? It could also be something like Corian, which is something like plastic. Is it cool to the touch or not?
Aug 27, 2018 at 2:20 | comment | added | aparente001 | @JacquesRamsden - I opened the cupboard underneath. There is a triangle indicating it can be recycled. I think that might mean it is plastic. But it doesn't look like plastic.

Aug 26, 2018 at 12:13 | comment | added | Jacques Ramsden | Can you see the underside?
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:13 | comment | added | Jacques Ramsden | Ahh... I understand your dilemma
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:12 | comment | added | aparente001 | @JacquesRamsden - I'm trying to say that I am not able to identify a specific material that it's made of. I'm not even sure what the choices are. I don't know whether porcelain is a possibility. If porcelain is always white, then that would obviously eliminate porcelain as a possibility. Can you point me to methods for figuring out what the material is?
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:11 | comment | added | Jacques Ramsden | Porcelain can be died I have seen all sorts of colours. It could also be granite... hence my question. Its hard to give advice if you don't know what something is made of as you could give bad advise. Also. Is it not just painted? Powder coated etc?
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:09 | comment | added | Jacques Ramsden | Sorry I'm a bit lost you said it was black? Are you implying. That its not porcelain?
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:07 | comment | added | aparente001 | @JacquesRamsden - I don't know. It's not stainless steel. I don't know if porcelain can come in other colors besides white.
Aug 26, 2018 at 12:06 | comment | added | Jacques Ramsden | Could you add more information. Like what materials the sink is made of?
