Feb 23, 2015 at 18:22 comment added Engineer Toast That's a fair point and I suppose it would depend on the temperature of the water in the tank as opposed to the ambient temperature. I've stayed in a poorly insulated house in Wisconsin and we switched the toilet's water feed to hot water to prevent sweat buildup dripping on the floor. That would work here, too, but it's not practical for just the occasional toilet clog.
