Note that the contents of the vacuum cleaner bag are detritus that had settled out of the atmosphere recently. Thus, 'polluting' from the bag is akin to 'releasing carbon' in a wooden stove: no net effect on the environment. It is the release of ancient carbon, or processed non-biodegradabe material, that pollutes the environment. | |
