@IQAndreas I'm not sure how you'd expect me to take a photo when I see ants in my keyboard over screaming and running away, but sure, I'll take a picture if they appear again. I've adopted and attempted some of the solutions in the answers and they're mitigating the problems rather well though.
It's an ASUS-ul20ft, if it helps. Also, I'm not positive on disassembling the laptop to a point where it's easy to clean, since I've tried reassembling three laptops and none of them have ever worked since.
@Mast: They roughly scale from lasting two months to those which lasts over four years (or so it says on the expiry date), but there are no great gaps among the variations.
Actually, as I think about it more, this technique is really effective for both short and long term measures, as cool water drags the ice above to its melting point and therefore melts into cold water, which is an exothermic reaction and therefore reduces temperature near the container quickly. As water has a high specific heat capacity (good for what's it's worth as well, tap water is not exceptionally expensive), it can absorb a lot of the heat from the laptop effectively. I should try this on one of these times. :p This is pretty much the poor man's liquid cooling.
